Experiencias de los alumnos
El viaje a Inglaterra fue una experiencia única y diferente a cualquier otra. Me fascinó el hecho de poder quedarnos en casas de familia, ya que no solo me sirvió en términos del idioma sino también de cultura, ver una nueva forma de vida. Me encantó haber podido conocer sus atracciones turísticas llenas de historia, sus calles y personas son muy cálidas.
Respecto a las clases en CIE, fueron excelentes, muy dinámicas, los profesores muy agradables y viví experiencias únicas al poder ser capaz de conocer e interactuar con personas de diferentes países, como así también con los propios alumnos del instituto Blue Swan, a quienes no conocía y con los cuales gracias a este viaje pude entablar una amistad.
Para mí no solo fue un viaje de aprendizaje sino también una manera de interiorizarme en la vida y cultura Inglesa.
Quiero destacar también la ayuda que nos brindó la directora del instituto Daniela Pañoni, antes, durante y después del viaje. Siempre estuvo con nosotros acompañándonos demostrando su preocupación e interés en que el viaje salga tan espectacular como salió!
Hoy en día me quedo con los hermosos recuerdos y sin perder contacto con amigos japoneses que hice allá!
Espero pronto poder regresar!

The trip to England was a unique experience, different from any other. I was fascinated by the fact that we could stay in a family home, since not only did it help me in terms of language practice, but it also introduced me to a new culture, and made me see a new way of life. I loved being able to visit its tourist attractions full of history. Oxford streets and people are very warm.
Regarding the classes at CIE, they were excellent and very dynamic. The teachers were very nice and the experiences were unique as I was able to meet and interact with people from different countries, as well as with the students from the Blue Swan Institute, who I didn’t know and with whom I was able to establish a friendship, thanks to this trip.
For me it was not just a learning trip, it was also a way to insert myself into their lifestyle and culture.
I would also like to highlight the importance of the assistance we constantly received from Daniela Pañoni, headteacher at Blue Swan Institute. She was always near us, showing her concern and interest to make this trip as spectacular as it actually was.
Nowadays I keep the beautiful memories, and I am still in contact with some Japanese friends I met there!
I hope I will be able to come back soon!

Este viaje para mí fue un antes y un después en cuanto a lo personal, lo social y lo intelectual. Estar en un lugar que solo podes hablar en inglés, no solo ayuda a mejorar el idioma, sino también a aprender a socializar con personas de diferentes culturas. Es increíble como de un momento para otro te encontras hablando con una persona de China y con otra de Rusia, entre otros.
En cuanto a las casas de familia, para mí, fue lo que más me ayudó en tema idioma. Porque ahí estás básicamente conviviendo, y hablas cosas de tu cotidianidad, Ellos también te corrigen si ven que decís algo mal, o conjugas mal los verbos, etc. Entonces estás en un constante aprendizaje.
Por otro lado, la ciudad de Oxford en sí es una de las ciudades más lindas. Muy tranquila, pequeña y acogedora. Los colectivos son un 10, siempre puntuales y en un muy buen estado, La comida no es tan diferente, si le ponen picante a todo. Y las personas son muy amables, dispuestas a ayudarte si necesitas algo.
En fin, si tienen la oportunidad de hacer este viaje, no duden en hacerlo!

This trip has been a turning point in my personal, social and intellectual life. Being at a place where only English is spoken, does not only help you to improve your language skills, but also to socialize with people from different cultures. It is just incredible how you can suddenly find yourself talking to someone from Russia or China, among other countries!
I also think staying with a host family has been the most useful factor for me, as regards language practice. As you are living with them, you talk about your everyday life. They also help you by correcting your language when you make a mistake. So, the learning is constant.
Furthermore, Oxford city is one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen. It’s very quiet, small and welcoming. The buses are outstanding! They are always on time and in great conditions. The food is not as different as what we are used to eating here, but it is a bit spicy! The people are really kind, and they are willing to help you in case you need anything.
Anyway, if you do have the chance to make this trip, don’t think twice!

El viaje a Inglaterra fue una experiencia única para mi. No sólo conocí una ciudad y paisajes hermosos y un país en el que nunca había estado, sino que también me pude insertar en la cultura inglesa, a la vez que conocía otras gracias a mis compañeros del CIE. La familia fue muy amable y atenta y me hicieron sentir muy cómoda en su hogar, ya que yo estaba lejos del mio. Fue un viaje inolvidable y me gustaría repetirlo en un futuro.

This trip to England has been a unique experience for me. Not only did I visit a beautiful city with its incredible landscapes, in a country I had never been to, but I was also able to live within English culture, while at the same time I learnt about other cultures thanks to my international mates at CIE. My host family was really kind, and they made me really comfortable at their home, since I was far away from mine. It was an unforgettable trip, and I would like to repeat it in the future.

Muchos me han preguntado que significó para mí el viaje a Inglaterra, lo que puedo decir es que fue una experiencia diferente a cualquier otra que haya vivido, me encanto el hospedarme en una casa de familia porque me permitió conocer una realidad muy distinta a la nuestra. Lo mismo con respecto a las clases en Lake School, no solo pude aprender inglés, si no que aprendí otras realidades de vida, muy distintas a las nuestras. Por eso, no fue un viaje más, fue un viaje especial, porque no solo fue conocer lugares y personas si no también interiorizarme en cosas que eran desconocidas hasta ese momento. Cuando volví a casa, lo hice con un hermoso recuerdo. Ojala se pueda repetir.

Many people have asked me what this trip to England has meant to me. What I can say is that this experience was totally different from any other experience I had lived. I loved staying with a host family because it enabled me to learn about another reality, one which is very different from ours. The same happened with the classes at Lake School. Not only was I able to learn English, but I also learnt about other ways of living, very different from ours. This is the reason why I think it was not just one more trip. It was a special one. It was not just about visiting new places and meeting new people. It was also about discovering new things. When I came back home, I had a beautiful memory of that trip. I wish I could repeat the experience.

El viaje fue una experiencia que repetiría mil veces. Fue muy lindo conocer las ciudades con sus distintas atracciones turísticas e históricas, donde me sentí muy cómoda. Las personas aunque parezcan un poco frías, te reciben muy bien y son muy atentos. Lo mas lindo que me quedó del viaje son las amistades. Haber compartido este viaje con personas del instituto con las cuales quizás no había hablado nunca fue raro pero me dio la oportunidad de conocerlas mucho mejor y llevarme super bien.
A parte, en el CIE me recibieron super bien todos mis compañeros de mi curso y de los demás. Hasta el día de hoy sigo hablando con unos amigos árabes que me hice en Oxford, y los extraño mucho también. Ahora a esperar para el próximo viaje en 2019!

This trip was a great experience which I would like to live again a thousand times more! It was really nice to visit different cities and learn about their historical and touristic attractions. I actually felt very comfortable there.
Although the people might seem a bit cold, they give you a warm welcome and they are really helpful and kind.
The most beautiful thing I got from this trip were the friends I have made. Having shared this trip with people at the Institute to whom I had never spoken before was weird, but it gave me the chance to get to know them and we got on really well.
Moreover, I was warmly welcomed by all my mates at CIE.I am still in touch with the Arabian friends I made in Oxford, and I miss them a lot as well.
Now, let’s wait for the next trip in 2019!

Viajar a Inglaterra fue una experiencia que me encantó y que volvería a repetir muchas veces. Allí conocí otra cultura y personas de las que me hice amigo y me sigo comunicando.
Me encantaron las excursiones, sobre todo los paisajes desde el Castillo de Warwick y recorrer las ciudades y conocer su historia.
Me cayeron muy bien mis compañeros y mis profesores del curso y también Billy y Regina que son los que me cuidaron mientras estaba en Oxford.
Espero volver en 2019.

Travelling to England was a great experience which I would repeat a thousand times. I learnt about a different culture, and I met people who became my friends and I am still in touch with them.
I loved the excursions, especially the scenery at Warwick Castle. I also liked going around the cities and learning about their history.
I got on very well with my classmates and my teachers, and also with Billy and Regina who were the people who took care of me while I was in Oxford.
I hope to come back in 2019!

Mi experiencia en Inglaterra:
Lo que parecía tan lejano hace algún tiempo, sucedió. No puedo creer que ya haya terminado!
Decir que fue la mejor experiencia de mi vida parece no ser suficiente! Ha sido más que un curso, más que unas vacaciones! Fue un viaje que cambio mi vida!
Hemos aprendido de las personas que conocimos, del uno al otro y de nosotros mismos! Me ha hecho crecer!
Ahora sé que hay una mejor forma de vivir. La amabilidad y el respeto son un estilo de vida. La gente allí sabe cómo hacer que todo funcione de la manera correcta.
En cierto punto, dejas de pensar en el Inglés, y empezas a pensar en Inglés.
Personalmente pienso que nadie debe perderse una oportunidad como esta, porque es una de esas cosas que no se van a volver a dar nunca!

My experience in England:
What seemed so distant some time ago, has passed. I can’t believe it`s already gone.
Saying it has been the best experience in my life seems not enough! It was more than a course, more than a Holiday. It was a life changing trip.
We`ve learnt from the people we met, from each other and from ourselves too. I grew up.
Now I know there is a better way of living. Politeness and Respect are lifestyles and
people there know how to make everything work the way it should.
At some point, you stop thinking about English and you start thinking in English.
I personally think no one should ever miss an opportunity like this, because it’s one of those things you`ll never get back!
